Calcium Gluconate Injection

1.Description:

Sterile aqueous injection of calcium gluconate, which replenishes calcium ions, maintains neuromuscular excitability, improves myocardial contractility, corrects hypocalcemia, exerts anti-allergic and anti-convulsion effects

2.Main Ingredient:

Calcium Gluconate; Excipient: Water for Injection

3.Specification:

10ml:1.0g (common standard), 5ml:0.5g

4.Indications:

Hypocalcemia, hypoparathyroidism, tetany; allergic diseases; calcium supplementation for pregnancy, lactation, osteoporosis; adjunctive treatment for magnesium poisoning

5.Dosage & Administration:

Intravenous injection only (not intramuscular or subcutaneous), slow infusion required; Adult: 1-2g (10-20ml) per time, diluted with 5%-10% Glucose Injection for slow infusion; Pediatric: 0.5-1g (5-10ml) per time, adjusted according to age and weight

6.Storage:

Sealed, stored in a cool and dry place (≤25℃), protected from light, keep out of reach of children

7.Shelf Life:

24 months from the date of manufacture
