Tetanus Antitoxin Injection

1.Description:

Sterile aqueous injection containing specific antitoxin against tetanus toxin, which can neutralize tetanus toxin in the body, prevent and treat tetanus, and provide rapid passive immunization

2.Main Ingredient:

Tetanus Antitoxin; Excipients: Sodium Chloride, Water for Injection

3.Specification:

1500 IU/ampoule, 3000 IU/ampoule, 10000 IU/ampoule (common specifications)

4.Indications:

Prevention of tetanus in patients with traumatic wounds (especially deep, contaminated wounds); Adjunctive treatment of tetanus; Emergency prevention in high-risk groups exposed to tetanus toxin

5.Dosage & Administration:

Intramuscular injection or subcutaneous injection (intravenous injection only in emergency, strictly controlled); Prevention: Adult & Pediatric: 1500-3000 IU once; Treatment: 50000-100000 IU for severe cases, diluted with normal saline for slow infusion, dosage adjusted according to condition

6.Storage:

Refrigerated storage at 2-8℃, protected from light, do not freeze, keep out of reach of children

7.Shelf Life:

36 months from the date of manufacture (subject to product label)
