Specification: 125mg/5ml; 250mg/5ml
Pharmacological category: Broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic, bactericidal agent
Mechanism of action: A semi-synthetic broad-spectrum penicillin with potent bactericidal effect, inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), leading to bacterial lysis and death. It has broad antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, good water solubility, fast oral absorption, high bioavailability and mild gastrointestinal irritation, especially suitable for children and patients with difficulty swallowing solid preparations.
Indications: Treatment of mild to moderate bacterial infections caused by sensitive bacteria in children and adults, including respiratory tract infection (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract infection, gastrointestinal infection, skin and soft tissue infection, otitis media, sinusitis and dental infection; adjuvant treatment of neonatal bacterial infection and postoperative prophylactic anti-infection; first-line medication for pediatric bacterial infection with good compliance.
Usage and dosage: Oral administration, shake well before use, take with warm water. Adult & children over 12 years: 250mg~500mg (5ml~10ml) once a time, 3 times a day. Children 2~12 years: 20~40mg per kg body weight per day, divided into 3 times; infants under 2 years: 10~20mg per kg body weight per day, divided into 3 times. Severe infection can double the dosage appropriately, course of treatment 7~14 days.
Contraindications: Contraindicated in patients allergic to amoxicillin, penicillin antibiotics, this product and any excipients; contraindicated in patients with penicillin anaphylactic shock history; contraindicated in patients with infectious mononucleosis.
Cautious population: Use with caution in allergic constitution (asthma, urticaria, eczema) patients; use with caution in mild-moderate hepatic/renal insufficiency patients (reduce dosage, monitor liver/kidney function); pregnant/lactating women can use safely under medical guidance; elderly patients take low dose; infants use strictly by weight to avoid overdose; avoid combined use with probenecid to prevent drug accumulation; do not use for viral infection to avoid drug resistance.
Adverse reactions: High safety, mild and rare adverse reactions, better tolerance than capsules. Common reactions: mild gastrointestinal discomfort (nausea, loose stool, diarrhea), relieved by taking with meals; occasional mild dizziness, fatigue. Allergic reactions: skin rash, pruritus are occasional, severe anaphylactic shock is extremely rare; eosinophilia and fever are rare. Rare reactions: mild transaminase elevation, oral candidiasis (reversible after withdrawal); no obvious toxic side effects with conventional dosage.
Notes: Shake vigorously before each use to ensure uniform concentration; do not mix with acidic drinks/alkaline drugs to avoid drug inactivation; the suspension is white or off-white uniform turbid liquid, forbidden to use if layered, caked or discolored; long-term use may cause intestinal flora disorder, can be relieved by probiotics; store in cool dry place, avoid light/high temperature, seal tightly; validity period: 24 months (7 days after opening).
