Pharmacological category: Antipyretic & Analgesic, Pyranazone derivative

Product Description

Mechanism of action: A potent antipyretic and analgesic drug, inhibits prostaglandin synthesis by acting on hypothalamic thermoregulatory center and peripheral pain receptors, exerts strong antipyretic effect and relieves moderate to severe pain, with mild anti-inflammatory effect. Fast absorption, onset in 30 minutes, peak effect in 2-3 hours, long duration of 4-6 hours, rapid fever reduction for acute high fever.

Indications: Relief of moderate to severe pain such as headache, toothache, neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, dysmenorrhea and postoperative pain; emergency antipyretic for persistent high fever caused by cold, influenza, severe infection and inflammatory diseases; adjuvant pain relief for cancer pain and traumatic pain; fever reduction for patients with poor tolerance to other antipyretics.

Usage and dosage: Oral administration, take with warm water after meals to reduce gastrointestinal irritation. Adult: 0.5g (1 tablet) once a time, 1-3 times a day; maximum daily dose ≤ 2 tablets (1.0g). Pediatric (over 5 years old): 0.25g (½ tablet) once a time, 1-2 times a day; strictly follow weight dosage for children under 5 years old. Course of treatment: fever ≤3 days, pain ≤5 days, avoid long-term continuous use.

Contraindications: Contraindicated in patients allergic to Analgin, metamizole sodium, pyranazone derivatives and any excipients; contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic/renal insufficiency, acute agranulocytosis and aplastic anemia; contraindicated in pregnant women, lactating women and infants under 3 months old; contraindicated in patients with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency and hemorrhagic diseases.

Cautious population: Use with caution in patients with mild to moderate hepatic/renal insufficiency (monitor liver/kidney function and blood routine); use with caution in elderly patients with reduced metabolic capacity (take low dose); use with caution in allergic constitution patients (monitor for rash and leukopenia); avoid combined use with other antipyretic-analgesics to prevent overdose and adverse reactions; long-term use requires regular blood routine monitoring to prevent hematological toxicity.

Adverse reactions: Common reactions: Mild gastrointestinal discomfort (nausea, abdominal pain, loose stool), dizziness, headache and fatigue, relieved spontaneously after drug withdrawal. Hematological reactions: Rare agranulocytosis, leukopenia and thrombocytopenia (reversible after withdrawal, monitor blood routine regularly); severe aplastic anemia is extremely rare. Allergic reactions: Skin rash, pruritus, urticaria are occasional, severe anaphylactic shock and Stevens-Johnson syndrome are rare; allergic reactions occur rapidly and require emergency treatment. Rare reactions: Mild elevation of transaminase, renal function damage and hypotension; no obvious gastrointestinal bleeding with conventional dosage.

Notes: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose to avoid severe adverse reactions; avoid long-term continuous use (no more than 5 days) to prevent hematological toxicity; stop medication immediately and check blood routine if fever, sore throat, oral ulcer or leukopenia occurs; do not take with alcohol or hepatotoxic drugs to reduce liver burden; the tablet is white or off-white, forbidden to use if discolored or damp; store in a cool dry place, avoid light & high temperature, seal tightly; validity period: 36 months.
