Specification: 500mg per caplet
Pharmacological category: Antipyretic & Analgesic, Non-opioid pain reliever
Mechanism of action: Acts on the hypothalamic thermoregulatory center to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis, reducing body temperature set point to exert rapid antipyretic effect; blocks pain signal transmission in peripheral tissues to relieve mild to moderate pain, with no obvious anti-inflammatory effect. Mild gastrointestinal irritation, fast absorption (onset in 15-30 mins), long duration (4-6 hrs), high safety for short-term use.
Indications: Relief of mild to moderate pain (headache, toothache, neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain, dysmenorrhea); antipyretic for fever caused by cold, flu and various infectious diseases; adjuvant pain relief for mild postoperative pain and cancer pain; fever reduction & discomfort relief for infants, children and elderly patients with good tolerance.
Usage and dosage: Oral administration, take with warm water, can be taken with or without food. Adult: 1 caplet (500mg) once a time, 1-3 times a day; maximum daily dose ≤ 4 caplets (2000mg). Pediatric (6-12 years): ½ caplet once a time, 1-2 times a day; strictly follow weight dosage for children under 6 years old. Course of treatment: fever ≤3 days, pain ≤5 days.
Contraindications: Contraindicated in patients allergic to paracetamol, this product and any excipients; contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic/renal insufficiency and acute liver failure; contraindicated in neonates under 3 months old.
Cautious population: Use with caution in mild-moderate hepatic/renal insufficiency (reduce dosage, monitor liver/kidney function); pregnant/lactating women (safe in standard dosage, avoid long-term use); elderly patients with reduced metabolism (take low dose); allergic constitution patients (monitor for rash); avoid combined use with other paracetamol-containing preparations/alcohol to prevent acute liver injury.
Adverse reactions: High safety, mild and rare adverse reactions. Common reactions: occasional mild dizziness, fatigue, nausea, abdominal discomfort (relieve spontaneously). Rare reactions: skin rash, pruritus, urticaria (disappear after drug withdrawal); long-term excessive use may cause mild transaminase elevation, renal function damage (reversible after withdrawal). No severe gastrointestinal bleeding or anti-platelet effect, safer than aspirin/NSAIDs.
Notes: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose to avoid liver toxicity; do not take with alcohol or other antipyretic-analgesics; long-term continuous use requires regular liver function monitoring; stop medication immediately if allergic symptoms/jaundice occur; store in a cool dry place, avoid light & high temperature, seal tightly; validity period: 36 months.
