Paracetamol Effervescent Tablets

Product Description

1.Mechanism of action:

Inhibits prostaglandin synthesis in the hypothalamic thermoregulatory center and peripheral tissues, reduces fever by regulating the body temperature set point, relieves mild to moderate pain by blocking pain conduction, with rapid dissolution and absorption of effervescent tablets, onset in 15-30 minutes, duration of action 4-6 hours.

2.Indications:

Fever caused by common cold or influenza in adults and children; relief of mild to moderate pain such as headache, joint pain, migraine, toothache, myalgia, neuralgia and dysmenorrhea.

3.Usage and dosage:

Oral administration, dissolve the tablet completely in warm boiled water (about 200ml) before taking. Adult: 1 tablet once, 3-4 times a day, maximum daily dose no more than 4 tablets. Pediatric: Children aged 6-12 years old take 0.5 tablet once, 3-4 times a day; children under 6 years old take 10-15mg per kg body weight each time, follow the doctor's advice.

4.Contraindications:

Contraindicated in patients allergic to this product and acetaminophen preparations; contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic and renal insufficiency.

5.Cautious population:

Use with caution in patients with hepatic and renal dysfunction, alcoholic liver disease, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency; pregnant and lactating women use with caution; elderly patients with impaired liver and kidney function use with caution and reduce dosage appropriately; infants and young children use under adult supervision.

6.Adverse reactions:

Rare and mild adverse reactions, occasional nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, diarrhea and other gastrointestinal discomfort; rare rash, pruritus and allergic dermatitis; excessive or long-term use may cause severe liver function damage, elevated transaminase and even acute liver failure; a small number of patients may have thrombocytopenia and anemia.

7.Notes:

This product is a symptomatic treatment drug, the course of antipyretic treatment should not exceed 3 days, analgesic treatment should not exceed 5 days; do not take with other acetaminophen-containing drugs to avoid liver damage caused by overdose; avoid drinking alcohol or alcoholic beverages during medication to reduce the risk of liver injury; effervescent tablets must be dissolved before taking, do not swallow directly to prevent choking.
